He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilmer and Helen; his brother Leonard; his wife Sandra; his brother Norman (Carol); and his sons, Steve, Matt (Colleen) and Bryan (Kristen). He was also cherished by ten grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the New Lenox Lions Club.
