He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilberte Albertine Peterson (Hamon) and Ernest Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Peterson (Hagstrom); his children, Jerry Peterson (Teri), Wayne Peterson (Josie), Michael Peterson (Patti) and Lynn Saubert (Howard); his grandchildren, Nicole Saubert, Howie Saubert (Kerry), Andrew Peterson (Nicki), Matthew Peterson (Jaime), Gerald Peterson (Ruth), Eric Peterson and Colleen Bal (Jake); and his great grandchildren, Ava, Jack, Hadley and Nathan.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic a private family memorial service will be held and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Kankakee Valley Hospice would be appreciated.
