He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Myron Fred Liefer; his grandparents, Walter, Olinda Hanke, Albert and Melba Liefer; his uncle Allen Liefer; and his friend Jimmy D. Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Courtney; his sons, Jacob Liefer, James Liefer and Myron Liefer; his mother Bernadine; his stepchildren, Robert Ozment, Dakota Ozment, Melinda Kissler, Becky Anderson, Elizabeth Schmidt, Matthew Ponder and Jennifer May; his stepgrandson Alexander Oz; and his siblings, Matthew Liefer (Angela) and Christine Nolle (Jeffrey). He is also survived by seven nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to a trust for his children.
