Maxine Wendell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2020, at the age of 82, Maxine Wendell of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Coggon, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Owens and John Owens; her brother Richard LeClere; her parents-in-law, Ernest and Maureene Wendell; her brother-in-law Jim Schultz; and her sibling's children, Craig Schultz and Cheryl Permann.
She is survived by: her husband John Wendell; her sons, David Grenlund (Lisa) and Joshua Wendell (Jill); her grandchildren, Kyle Grenlund (Shelby), Nicholas Grenlund (Claudia), Tallory and Griffin Wendell; her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Aleeah Grenlund and Georgiana Grenlund; her sister Margaret Schultz (John Larson); and her siblings-in-law, Elsie LeClere, Jerry Bowles (Gay), Karen Nennhaus (Peter) and Jean Kelley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In observance of the COVID-19 pandemic we will be practicing social distancing.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Keen Age Center of Belvidere.
