He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Roth and Gertrude Roth; and his brother John Roth. He is survived by : his children, J. Matthew Roth (Beth Ann Gailey) of St. Louis, MO and Laura Roth-Hill (James Hill) of St. Louis, MO; and his siblings, Karen Long (Fred), Kaye Carpenter (Don) and Jerry Roth (Glenda).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
