He was predeceased by: his siblings, Del, Dolly, John, Wally, Joseph, Edward and Gene; and his parents, Joseph of Chicago and Katherine of Chicago.

He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Michele and Freedle of Tampa; and his sisters, Trudy Tjalma of Las Vegas and Eleanore Bolalek of Munster. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
