It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Jansen of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Norman H. Jansen; her siblings, Dorothy Aaron (Sherman), Mary Ann Berkel (William) and John Biekert (Annie); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Biekert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Marie Jansen (Robert Ambrose) of Port Townsend, WA and Sue Ann Rettig (Fred) of Heyworth, IL; her grandchildren, Audrey West (David Shangraw), Mollie West, Robby Bauer (Laura) and Ryan Rettig; her great grandchildren, Sterling Shangraw, Brooks Bauer and Quinn Bauer; and her brother Paul Biekert. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Standard CDC guidelines, including masks and social distancing, will be observed.
Memorials may be made to St. Teresa Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
