It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greg Burns of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Normal, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William and Janet Brady Burns. He is survived by: his wife Noelle C. Stevens of Bloomington; his children, Carter, Lilian and Walker; his brothers, Steve Burns (Lisa) of Normal and Mike Burns (Stacy) of Metamora; his parents-in-law, Jim and Ruthann Stevens; and his siblings-in-law, Brian Stevens (Erika), Brett Stevens, Joey Claypool, Carrie Stevens and Rebecca Thoeming (Norm). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the amazing doctors and nurses at Carle Foundation Hospital in the CVICU (dubbed the "G-unit") who worked tirelessly and genuinely while they loved and cared for Greg; you have no idea what these nurses have been through with Covid these last two years.
