It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Ellen Rodriguez of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 57, on April 5, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Mary Ellen Rodriguez.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Rodriguez and Beverly Youde Rodriguez; and her brother Greg Rodriguez. She is survived by : her sons, Joshua Brittin (Christina) of Bloomington, IL and Jeremiah Brittin (Raelyn) of Evanston, IL; her grandchildren, Richard, Mandie, Brandis, Dominic and Sebastian; and her siblings, Paul Rodriguez (Julie) of Flushing, MI, George Rodriguez of Flint, MI and Rachel Smith (Jerry) of Ooltewah, TN.. She is also survived by 6 great- grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 12th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial (1115 E Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 12th 2021 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The service and visitation will be limited to 50 persons at a time, and everyone must wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
