With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Paulson of Bloomington, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Richard left this world on April 30, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Paulson and Claire Paulson (Schaefer); and his brothers, Gary and Jeff Paulson. He is survived by: his children, Robert, Patricia and Audrey Paulson; his grandchildren, Zack (Alex), Rachel, Emily (Jen), Robin, Nick (Kat), Lexie (Sawyer), Erin, Jim (Kailey), Sara, Drew, Colton, Kaytlyn and Riley; his great grandchildren, Uriah, Morgan, Elias, Simon, Jolene and Alethea; his brother Roger Paulson (Becky); and his sister-in-law Linda Paulson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Epiphany Catholic Church (1000 E College Ave, Normal, IL 61761). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epiphany Catholic Church or St. Vincent DePaul.
