She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder Aubrey E. Hursey Sr. and Almeta E. Jackson Hursey; her great grandchild Preston Smith; and her siblings, Shirley Williams, Robert Hursey, Sr. and Aubrey Hursey II.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Herman; her children, Andrea Herman of Bloomington, Kenneth Herman (Mauria) of Bloomington, Shawne Herman of Jacksonville, FL, Dawne Herman of Jacksonville, FL and Orlando Conners (Ruthie) of Waukegan, IL; her sisters, Phyllis Thomas of Bloomington, Deborah Hursey of Bloomington and Carolyn Tice of Bloomington; her sisters-in-law, Mary Hursey of Bloomington and Tami Hursey of North Carolina; her close friend Rosie Minjarez (Bea Westbrook); and her goddaughter Anna Strong.
