With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Steider of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Steider to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Hamlin and Dorothy Hamlin (Chinuge); and her husband Robert "Bob" Steider. She is survived by: her children, Tim Steider (Holly) of Washington, IL, Kris Steider Nishimura (Craig) of Houston, TX, Ryan Steider (Christina) of Normal, IL and Dan Steider of Normal, IL.; her sisters, Suzanne Stahl and Sally Hamlin of Peoria, Illinois.; Phyllis Choinere of Villa Park, Illinois.. She is also survived by her kids and grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel (219 E Partridge St, Metamora, IL 61548). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hickory Point Cemetery (630 IL-116, Metamora, IL 61548).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637.
