She was predeceased by : her parents, William Neese and Susan Neese; her husband Paul Scales; her children, Mike and Linda; and her great grandchild Bryson.
She is survived by : her sons, Nick Scales (Rita) of Harristown, Rick Scales (Diane) of Blue Mound, David Scales (Donna) of Mt. Zion and Steve Scales (Kathy) of Springfield, MO; her daughter-in-law Diane Marts of Taylorville; and her close friend Mildred Kilhoffer. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
