We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Kalyani Shanmugavelayutham (Bolingbrook, Illinois). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Kalyani may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kalyani touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent S. Thayumana; her siblings, Suresh, Mythily and Rama; her husband Ramasamy Shanmugavelayutham; her daughters, Swapna and Shobana; her son-in-law Osgul Rene Zepeda Munos; her daughter Rameya; and her son-in-law Asif Ali Majid.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium (530 W Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago or Sri Venkateswara Swami (Balaji) Temple or directly to the family to support with final arrangements.
