With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Denise R. Fitzgibbon of Bourbonnais, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Denise left this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Denise may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mileage Cavins and Barbara Smith Cavins; and her husband Robert Fitzgibbon. She is survived by: her children, Aaron Fitzgibbon (Gina) of Manhattan, Sean Waugh (Sharon) of Bourbonnais and Amber Hanson (Joshua) of Ashkum; her sister Debbie Ruebensam (Steven) of Bradley; and her grandchildren, Abigail Hanson, Addisyn Hanson and Caleb Waugh.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914).
