He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Sr. Hickey and Gertrude Flesvig Hickey; and his wife Sharon Easter. He is survived by: his children, Joseph M. (Maritza Hickey), Betina Hickey Penney (James Penney) and Angel Hickey Garrison (Marcus Garrison); and his siblings, Kathryn (Michael Badali), Laura Finch of Arizona and Thomas Hickey of Demotte, Indiana. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
