It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Pommier of Bourbonnais, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Pommier and Lydia Pateneau Pommier; and his sister Veronica June Girard. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Pommier of Bourbonnais; his children, Deborah Whittington (Bud) of Kankakee, Dennis Pommier (Vickie) of Kankakee and Danielle Pommier of Bourbonnais; his grandchildren, Luke, Patrick, Katie, Kayla and Leah; and his great grandchildren, Lanie and Lizzy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church.
