He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Baucom and Irma Baucom (Gunter); his daughter Susan Gravuer; and his siblings, Roy Baucom, Jr., Leonard Baucom, Pete Baucom, Rebecca Beaman, Ann Olds, Patty Garrett and Rachel Cheek.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Carlton; his son Blair Baucom of O'Fallon, IL; his grandson Robert Baucom (Alicia) of Wood River; his sisters, Linda Rocker of Roxboro and Irma Tapp (Louis) of Southport; and his son-in-law Robert Gravuer of Ozark, Alabama..
