He was predeceased by : his mother Joyce Vivian Benware (Murgatroy); and his brother George Benware. He is survived by : his spouse Terry Lynn Orban; his children, Joshua Benware (Melodye) of Dow and Traci Bromaghim (Joel) of Alton; his father Wilfred Lawrence Benware; his grandchildren, Zachary (Savanna), Lucas Benware (Hannah), Olivia, Jacob, Logan and Victoria Bromaghim; and his siblings, Allan Benware (Susan), Vivian Melcher (Richard), Daniel Benware (Anna), Douglas Benware, Ernest Benware and Brian Benware (Mary). He is also survived by his children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, his grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Gateway chapter of PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) or the Healey Center at Massachusetts General Hospital for ALS research.
