She is survived by : her son Gordon Wahler (Virginia); her grandchildren, Andrew Wahler, Nathan Wahler and Katherine Pacilli; and her siblings, Gerda Beissert (late Reinhold Semmler) and Horst Beissert (Magdalene). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
