It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha Minnie Proffer of Bunker Hill, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Laverne Webb and Katherine Elaine Webb (Kidwell); her husband Clarence H. Proffer, Jr.; and her brother Stanley Webb. She is survived by : her children, Brian K. Proffer (Sara) of Gwinn, MI, Shawn Elaine Proffer-Hupp (David L. Hupp) of Staunton, IL and Guy W. Proffer (Sandy M.) of Saint Jacob, IL; and her siblings, Laverne "Lou" Marshall (Larry) of Alton, IL and Lillian Marshall (Paul). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
