It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Clapp (Cabery, Illinois), who passed away on February 17, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delno G. Meece and Lura Meece (Stephens); her siblings, Jack Meece, Lynelle McGinnis (Don) and Janet Joyce; and her sons, Scott and John Clapp.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen Clapp; her daughter-in-law Cindy Clapp of Cabery, IL; her grandchildren, Natalie Cox (Aaron), Allison Benoit (Alex), Phillip Clapp, Amanda McWhorter and Emily Clapp; her great grandchildren, Elliott and Easton Cox; her siblings, Gretta Giacometti (Bob) of Cabery, IL and Jim Meece (Sandi) of Floyds Knob, IN; and her siblings-in-law, Jerome Joyce of Reddick, IL and Beverly Meece of Kankakee, IL.
