He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Jack" C. and Anna Clapp (Canham); his sister Carole Sadler (Truman "Sam"); and his sons, John Clapp and Scott Clapp.
He is survived by: his spouse Gail Meece; his daughter-in-law Cindy Clapp of Cabery, IL; his grandchildren, Natalie Cox (Aaron), Allison Benoit (Alex), Phillip Clapp, Amanda McWhorter and Emily Clapp; and his great grandchildren, Elliott and Easton Cox. He is also survived by great granddaughters as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Hope Cemetery in rural Cabery, IL.
