It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty M. Rain of Calhoun, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Ralph Haycraft and Wilma Haycraft (Benz); her grandparents, Charles and Amanda Benz; her husband John "Jack" Rain Sr.; her sons, John Rain Jr. (Holly) of Godfrey and Daniel C. Rain of Godfrey; her grandchildren, John Clifford "Cliff" Rain III and Rachel Catanzaro (Nick); her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Noah Catanzaro; her sister-in-law Nadine Rain; and her daughter-in-law Kathie Rain.

Memorials may be made to the LoveJoy United Presbyterian Church, 2550 Rock Hill Road, Wood River, IL 62095.
