It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia A. Verhoeve of Calumet City, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Malachinski and Genevieve Malachinski; and her siblings, Norbert, Richard and Rita Marie (Mary Ann).
She is survived by: her husband Warren; her daughters, Susan Fuerte (Anthony) and Jennifer Verhoeve; her grandchildren, Amber Verhoeve, Peyton Glass and Maegan Burch (James); her great grandchild Iris Verhoeve; and her sister Geraldine Andrews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Knock Church (501 163rd St, Calumet City, IL 60409).
