He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Garcia and Maria Garcia; and his siblings, Odilia Paredez, Maria Diaz Garcia, Hilda Martinez, San Juanita Loza and Ismael Garcia.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stefancic; his stepsons, Brian Holliday and Jeffrey Holliday; his grandsons, Nathan Holliday and Alec Holliday; and his siblings, Margaret Lopez Garcia, Noemi Espinoza Garcia, David (Helen), Robert (Oralia), Albert and Juan Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
