She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis James and Mariam James (Melvin); her husband Howard D. McGinnis; her children, Connie Ripley and James Allen McGinnis; her grandson Howard Henn; and her siblings, Robert James and Beverly Lemaster.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn McGinnis of Arkansas, Charlotte Henn (Ron) of Arkansas and Sandy Walters (Lendel) of Canton, IL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
