It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Thompson Sisulak of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Kristin Stotlar Sisulak; his brother Michael Stinson Sisulak; his grandparents, Esther, Stephen Andrew Sisulak, Helen Thompson and Raymond Christopher Stotlar; his aunt Karen Stotlar; and his uncle John "Jack" Stotlar.
He is survived by: his father Stephen Andrew Sisulak, Jr.; his siblings, Karen Sisulak (Ill), Guy Sisulak (Lori) and Chris Sisulak; his uncles, Raymond Stotlar (Debbie), Curtis Stotlar (Milwaukee) and John Sisulak (Dot) of Tempe, AZ; and his cousins, Laura Sisulak Wagstaff (family: Portland, Ore) and Katie Sisulak.
Whether one knew him as Andrew, Andog, Mr. Chairman or one of the many other nicknames that he so easily attracted, his legacy to Southern Illinois will not be forgotten, no matter how humble he was with his contributions to the region.
