It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris K. Adams of Carbondale, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Cook and Millicent Cook. She is survived by: her children, Frank Adams, Kirk Adams, Carole Bilderback (Dan) of Murphysboro and Abby Cook (Daniel) of Carbondale; her daughters-in-law, Vickie Kolb of Murphysboro and Janet Harris of Carbondale; and her grandchildren, Gene Bagwell, Jennifer Bagwell Culp, Justin Bilderback, Cassi Bilderback Hines, Andrew Hannon, Margaret Adams Owens, Marion Adams Sai and Alice Adams Wougamon. She is also survived by 19 greatgrandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to St. Francis Xavier Church.
