He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Othello and George Elizabeth Huffman (Fehrenbacher); and his siblings, Albert Huffman, Georgia Page (Sis) and Martha Harrell.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan and Heller; his wife Marjorie L. Huffman (Nix); his children, J. Douglas Huffman (Jill), Beth A. Huffman, Mark Huffman (Carolyn) and Amy Davis (Jeff); his grandchildren, William Huffman (Christine), Andrew Huffman, John Henry Huffman (Haydyn), Lauren Warman (Philip), Jack Huffman, Joseph Huffman and Matthew Huffman; his great grandchild Henry Huffman; and his brother Tom Huffman (Sandy). He is also survived by his friends, kids, and even friends of his kids.
He served as attorney for the SIU Board of Trustees, SIU Foundation and SIU Alumni Association.
