She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grace Knauss and Toy Knauss; her daughters, Penny Clutts and Patti Peters; her granddaughters, Kelly Kerckhove (Tom), Kiley Peters (Kyle) and Paige Peters (Megan); her great grandchildren, Maddie and Cate Kerckhove; her husband John S. Whittenberg, Jr.; and her daughter Janis L. Whittenberg.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
