We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2023, at the age of 88, Gene Alan Gahr of Carlinville, Illinois, born in Litchfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Olin Gahr and Mary Oepke; and his brother Alvin Gahr. He is survived by : his wife Doris Gahr of Carlinville, IL; his children, Leanne Gahr of Carlinville, IL and Matt; and his sister Anna Jane Hornady of New Caney, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ or the charity of the donor's choice.
