With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley G. Macke of Carlinville, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl W. Sweeney and Delores F. Gasser Sweeney; and her husbands, Carl Foster, Joseph P. Schlotmann and Morris E. Macke.

She is survived by : her children, Michael P. Schlotmann of Carlinville, Mark Schlotmann (Martina Helms) of Carlinville, Donna Potts (Mark) of Hillsboro and Laurie Matzenbacher (Rick) of Waterloo; and her brother Allan Sweeney (Diane) of Indiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
