He was predeceased by: his parents, William Long and Josephine Long (Lilly); and his siblings, James, Jessie Long, Madonna Shane, Joan Jalbert and Virginia Long.
He is survived by: his spouse Inis Alton; his children, Randy Long (Sheila), Brad Long and Rhonda Short (John); and his grandchildren, Kyle Hessenauer, Tristin Long (Monica) and Justin Knutt. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
