With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Simon Kampwerth (Carlyle, Illinois), born in Bartelso, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kampwerth and Rose Mary Kampwerth (Rohr); his brothers, Henry Kampwerth (Johanna), Richard Kampwerth, Marcel Kampwerth (Christine) and David Kampwerth (Mary); and his parents-in-law, Scott, Catherine Trickey, Sr. and Simon.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Trickey; his children, Cindy Gomez (Johnny), Steve Kampwerth (Carolyn) and Simon Kampwerth, Jr. (Sally); his grandchildren, Rachele Horton (Ricky), Jared Kampwerth (Hannah), Josie Kampwerth and Avary Kampwerth; his great grandchildren, Kelsie, Erick Horton, Ella and Calvin Kampwerth; and his brother Andrew Kampwerth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
