He was predeceased by: his spouse Zanita; his parent Honorio Velasquez; and his sibling Carmelita Badelles (Bienvenido). He is survived by: his children, Edeliza Oliver (Jason), Daphne Velasquez, Edward Velasquez (Malinda), Abigail Garcia (Jan) and Divina Grace Velasquez; his parent Feliza Velasquez; and his siblings, Jamie Velasquez (Cora), Joel Velasquez (late Mylene), Marilou Cruz (late Steve), Cynthia Limsico (Jonathan), Albine Martin (Lito) and Roberto Velasquez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
