With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margie O'Keefe of Carterville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Hammers and Mamie Hammers (Lindsey); and her siblings, Wanda Hammers, LaGathia Davis, Robert, Carl, Lavern, Ira, Gene and Adrian Hammers.

She is survived by: her husband Lee; her sons, Eddie Adkins (Linda) and Matt Adkins (Melissa); her stepson Jason O'Keefe; her grandchildren, Autum Byrn (Chris), Alex Adkins (Autumn), Aubrie Adkins, Alexis Adkins and Allie Adkins; her stepgrandchildren, Victoria, Dawson and Lorcel; her great grandchildren, Esmee, Audrey, Rollins, Athena and Phoenix; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chris Lynn, Maddie, Azazal and Henley; and her brother Marvin Hammers.
