He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Huls and Irene Huls (Louring); his sister Lois; his stepdaughter Mitzi Jane Bullard; and his great grandchild Maggie Homan.
He is survived by: his former wife Janice Scott; his daughters, Cheryl Gaines (Brian) of Bowen, Teresa Leenerts (Myron) of Hamilton, Julie Walker (Brad) of Monroe City, Missouri and Rhonda Vinyard (Steve) of Bloomfield, Iowa.; his wife Sharon Bullard; his stepchildren, Shari Johnson (William) of Keokuk, Roger Bullard Jr. (David) of Evansville, Indiana and Jefferie Bullard (Karen Chilemi); and his siblings, Vernon Huls of Wilmette, Illinois, Lorna Plowman of Columbia and Dennis Huls of Carthage. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and 23+ great-grandchildren.
