He was predeceased by : his parents, Clemence Migatz and Mary Migatz; his wife Dianne; and his son Todd (Jentie Brantley). He is survived by : his close friends, Maurice Kousonsanong (Mo) and Connie Schmidt; his children, Thomas Brian and Traci Van Leeuwan; his grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica Migatz, Gyllian, Preston Van Leeuwan, Leigh, Justin, Rachel and Taylor Brantley; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Kylie Brantley and Luke Arthmann; and his cousin Robbie Jacobson. He is also survived by friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the American Red Cross.
