We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2021, at the age of 88, Rosemarie Fertl of Caseyville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Clemence W. Mees and Dorothy Mees (Dorris); her husband Frederick C. Fertl; her sister Shirley Pardieck (Melvin); her stepmother Marguerite Mees; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Fertl and Mary Colgate.
She is survived by : her children, Tom Fertl (Linda), Tracy Strickland (Derold) of Collinsville, IL and Stacy Harris (Larry) of Collinsville, IL; her grandchildren, Michael Fertl (Monica) of St. Louis, MO, Justin Strickland (Caitlyn) of Cuba, MO, Elysha Beckenbach (Will) of Mill Springs, MO and Adam Strickland (Sarah) of Collinsville, IL; her great grandchildren, Dominik, Liam, Owen, Troy, Zoe and Chloe; and her half-brothers, Bill Mees (Marcia) of Caseyville, IL and Charlie Mees of Hurst, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
