He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Long; his parents, Thomas E. Long and Harriet Long; and his grandson Justin. He is survived by: his daughter Leigh Ann Merritt (Byron); and his grandchildren, Mandy, Anthony and Brandan. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
