He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Restad and Clara B. Nolting Restad; his sisters, Irene Hanson (Vernon) and Erma Haugen (Ernie); and his nephew Eldon Haugen.
He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Restad; and his sister Norma Sittko of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by 4 nephews and their families; 9 loving grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made in Don's name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
