He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Lietz (Mitchell); his parents, Gerald S. Lietz and Kathryn Z. Lietz; and his mother-in-law Annie Mitchell (Pruitt). He is survived by: his children, Emily Vliek (William) of East Lansing and Jordan Lietz (Devin Richardson) of Champaign; his grandsons, William Vliek and Charlie Vliek; his brothers, Greg Lietz (Marie) and Ronald Lietz; his father-in-law Philip Mitchell; his pets, Henry and Granger; and his brother Disney Corporation. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
