He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine O'Connor Dillavou (Kay); his parents, Marcus E. Dillavou and Kathryn Rice Dillavou; his brother William E. Dillavou (Bill); and also Irene.
He is survived by: his children, John Dillavou of Laguna Niguel, Jim Dillavou (Amy) of Plano, Mary Collins (Jeff) of La Jolla and Tom Dillavou of Champaign; his grandchildren, Brian (Kristen), Mark (Jennifer), Travis, Kourtney Dillavou, Anne Castleberry (Read), Matthew Collins and Natalie Collins; and his great grandchild Katherine Dillavou. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
