He is survived by: his wife Muriel Alexander (Taylor) of Champaign; his sons, Peter of Carbondale and Paul of Callicoon; and his grandson Paul II of Lewiston.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to either Westminster Presbyterian Church or Brook Presbyterian Church, 119 Sixth St., Hillburn, NY 10931.
