He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Owen and Audie Mabel Kirby (Jacobs); and his wife Jean Charlotte (Stein) of Strawn. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Kirby (Sheila) of Loda, Ronald Kirby (Holly) of Washington and Robert Kirby (Claudia) of Springfield; his sisters-in-law, Faye Kirby of Paxton and Barbara Kirby of Plymouth, Ind.; and his siblings, Laurence, Everett, Dannie, David, Leona Fairley and Doris Frederickson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
