It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Deters (Champaign, Illinois), born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on September 14, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Anderson and Gertrude Anderson; and her brother Francis "Sam" Anderson of Jerseyville. She is survived by: her children, Patrick Deters (April) of Mahomet, Nancy Meyer (Robert) of Tolono, William Deters (Ruth) of Champaign and Brian Deters (Donise) of Champaign; and her grandchildren, Abigail Rust (Travis), Grant Deters, Andrew Meyer (Emma), Michelle Meyer, Jessica Shissler (Brandon), Brian Deters (Andi), Emily Troy (Quinton), Julia Deters, Carly Compton (Karl) and Kristopher Deters (Rachel Vinsel).
