He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dwyer Murphy and Jane Murphy; his spouse Kim (Brown); his children, Katy Behnke (Kyle) of Champaign, Becky DeDecker (Keith) of Naperville and Ryan Murphy (Bailey) of Champaign; his grandsons, Grayson, Preston, Timothy, Jack, Jace and Ford; his siblings, Kathy, Joe, Mike and Molly; his parents-in-law, Ed and Diane Brown; his siblings-in-law, Steve Brown (Shelly) and Karen Daily (Brian); and his siblings' children, Cullyn (Allison), Quinn, Maeve, Dana, Madison, Alexa, Austin, Roan and Cason.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club or Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois.
