He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Pankey and Anna Leah Pankey (Mattox); his wife Helen Louise Waggle; his great grandchild MacKenzie Boyle; and his siblings, Richard, Lee, Everett Pankey and Phyllis Draper.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Alan Pankey of Charleston and Lori Ann Grissom (Curt) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Kyle Sims (Stephanie) of Ashmore and Mindy Sims of Charleston; his stepgrandsons, John Grissom and Matt Grissom; his great grandchildren, Kolten, Karter, Skylar and Huckley Sims; his stepgreat-grandchild Gunnar Grissom; and his sister Betty Murphy of Savoy, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bill's family and mailed to Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston, IL 61920.
