Lonnie Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Smith (Charleston, Illinois), who passed away on January 10, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Ruby Smith (Johnson); and his brother John "Jack" Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Jan Replogle; his sons, Mike Smith of De Soto, Jim Smith (Carol) of Phoenix and Tim Smith (Debi) of St. Peter, Illinois; his stepdaughter Elicia Slate-Monti (Rob) of Champaign, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Emiley Smith and Corey Smith (Jessica); his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Degennaro, Colin, Wyatt and Zach Monti; his stepgreat-grandson Brody Degennaro; and his brother Earl "Tom" Smith of Herrin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
It is requested that thoughtful donations in his honor be made to the Alzheimer's Research Association.
